Our History
Forest Park Insurance was founded in 1971 and has been owned by Donald W. Mather since 1994. Upon graduating from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1967, Don began working for Liberty Mutual as an insurance agent. In 1971 he started working for Safeco and in 1973 was promoted to Seattle's home office where he worked for another 7 years in marketing, sales and customer service. After founding his own agency in 1980 Don purchased Forest Park Insurance in 1994. Don and his wife Lynne have 3 kids, Aimee, Donnie and Lyndsie.
Kenneth B. Zener, who married Don's youngest daughter in August 2004, graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2003. Kenny worked with Safeco's claim department for 18 months until he joined Forest Park Insurance in 2004. Kenny and his wife Lyndsie had their first baby boy, Kaiden, in March 2007. Lyndsie is pregnant with their second child, the due date is March 2010.
Kenny enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, playing basketball and being outdoors.
Don and Kenny are both licensed agents and have over 50 years of combined insurance experience. Our agency is built on trust, knowledge, excellent customer service and close relationships with our customers.

Forest Park Insurance has continually sponsored the Susan G Komen breast foundation along with the local police and Fireman's fund.
